Use Roadie lawfully, respect other people’s rights and privacy, and report security problems to help@roadie.gg. We will take reasonable steps to protect your data, will not sell it, and will take abuse and privacy complaints seriously. We will work to keep Roadie available, but cannot promise uninterrupted service. A streamer account is a monthly subscription that needs a card on file, renews automatically, and can be cancelled at any time; you keep it until the end of the month you paid for. If you do not agree, you cannot use Roadie, and that is okay.
These terms are an agreement between you and Roadie, operated as a sole
proprietorship in Massachusetts, United States (“Roadie”, “we”,
“us”). They cover the Roadie dashboard at dashboard.roadie.gg, the
Roadie Twitch Extension, and this website (together, the Services).
Dashboard users accept this version by selecting “I agree” when Roadie presents it. If you do not accept it, you cannot use the dashboard. Other uses of the Services remain subject to these terms; if you do not agree, do not use them.
Roadie is an intelligence platform for Twitch streamers. It connects to a streamer’s Twitch channel with their permission, builds context from that channel’s activity, and presents it to the streamer and their moderators. The Roadie Twitch Extension additionally lets viewers on a connected channel search that channel’s clips and request that one be played on the broadcast.
Roadie is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Twitch or Amazon. Twitch is a trademark of its owner.
The Services are early software, offered to streamers we approve. They may be incomplete, may change, may lose data, and features may be withdrawn. Do not rely on Roadie as a system of record for anything you cannot afford to lose. Being in beta does not change what you have agreed to pay or what section 5 promises about your subscription.
Some accounts are also beta testers, who get features before they are finished. Those features are the least stable part of Roadie and can change or disappear without notice.
You must be at least 13 years old and old enough to hold a Twitch account in your country. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.
Using the Services does not release you from Twitch’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and Developer Agreement, which continue to apply to everything you do on Twitch. Where Twitch’s rules are stricter than ours, theirs govern.
There is no self-serve signup today. You can request access, and if we approve it we send you a personal setup link with your offer. The link is tied to one Twitch account and works only when you sign in as that account. Do not share it. It expires if it is not used, and we may withdraw it before it is used. You are responsible for your account, for the permissions you grant Roadie on Twitch, and for what your moderators do with the access you give them. You may revoke Roadie’s access from your Twitch settings or disconnect from the dashboard at any time.
You are responsible for your own obligations to your community — including telling them that you use Roadie where the law where you live requires it.
Your offer is your price. A streamer account is a monthly subscription to a plan, such as Basic or Pro. Before you agree to anything, your setup link shows you the plan, the monthly price, any free period or discount, and the date of your first charge. Those terms are fixed when the offer is made and do not change while you set up.
A card is required to set up a new account, including one with a free period, a discount, or no charge at all. Accounts created before this version keep the terms they started on. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Roadie never sees or stores your full card number.
Free periods and discounts end on their own. When a free period or discount ends, your card is charged the full monthly price shown in your offer, unless you cancel before then. We do not send a separate reminder before that first charge, so note the date your offer shows.
Your subscription renews automatically every month and your card is charged on the renewal date until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Plan page in the dashboard. Cancelling stops future charges. You keep your plan until the end of the month you have already paid for, and then the subscription ends. You can undo a cancellation before that date.
No refunds. Payments are not refunded, in whole or in part, except where the law requires it. Instead, you keep everything you paid for until the end of that month, whether you cancel or we end your account for a reason other than a breach of these terms.
Founding plans. Accounts that join on a founding plan are Roadie’s early adopters. The price you accepted stays the price of that subscription for as long as it remains active. Features we add to your plan later are included at no extra cost. We may also offer separately priced add-ons that are not part of any plan. If the subscription ends and you subscribe again later, the new subscription is at the price offered then. We will not move an active subscription to a different price without your agreement.
Failed payments. If a charge fails, Stripe tries again over the following weeks, and you keep your plan while it does. You can update your card from the Plan page. If every retry fails, the subscription ends as if you had cancelled it.
When a subscription ends, Roadie stops collecting new information for your channel and stops the paid features. You can still sign in, and your saved information stays until you delete your account or as the Privacy Policy describes.
Taxes. Prices do not include sales tax or similar taxes. Where we are required to collect them, they are added to the charge and shown on your invoice.
Development pledges. Some accounts can add an optional monthly pledge on top of their plan to support Roadie’s development. A pledge is a payment to Roadie, not a charitable donation. It buys nothing extra and can be changed or stopped at any time.
Twitch Bits. Anything paid for with Bits is also governed by Twitch’s own terms. Twitch, not Roadie, processes those payments, and refunds for them are a matter between you and Twitch.

If you encounter a possible security flaw or information you believe you should not see, stop accessing it and report it to help@roadie.gg. Do not exploit it, keep or disclose the information, or test beyond what is reasonably necessary to describe the problem.
Viewers using the Extension additionally agree not to use the clip request feature to put content on a broadcast that the streamer would not want there, and not to automate requests. Streamers and their moderators can stop and remove any request, and can disable the Extension entirely.
Your content stays yours. Clips, chat, notes and other material from your channel remain yours, or the property of whoever already owned them. You grant Roadie the licence it needs to operate the Services for you — to store, process, transcribe, summarise and display that material to you, your moderators, and where you have chosen it, your viewers.
Roadie’s content stays ours: the software, the interfaces, the documentation, the name and the marks. Nothing in these terms transfers any of it to you.
Clips are hosted and served by Twitch. Roadie indexes and links to them and does not take ownership of them.
Machine-generated output is not guaranteed. Transcripts and summaries are produced automatically and can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading. Check anything that matters before acting on it — particularly before acting on it in public.
We will use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. We will not sell user data. We may use service providers to run and secure Roadie, disclose information where law requires it, and make information available to the people you authorize through Roadie’s permission controls. Our Privacy Policy explains collection, use, retention, deletion and disclosures in more detail.
We will not give advertisers access to private channel data under this agreement. Roadie may display advertisements, including relevant advertisements. If we later use personal data to customize them, we will explain that use and provide the choices or consent required by law before doing so.
We will take reports of abuse, security concerns and information visible to the wrong people seriously. Channel owners and moderators should see only what their permissions allow. If you find information that should be private, email help@roadie.gg.
We will make reasonable efforts to keep Roadie available and address outages. We know an outage during a stream is public and disruptive. There is no service level commitment; the Services may still be unavailable, interrupted or changed, and features may be removed.
You may stop using the Services at any time and delete your account from the dashboard. Deleting an account also cancels its subscription. We may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, including if we believe these terms have been broken or that continued access presents a risk. If we do, we stop charging you. Unless you broke these terms, you keep your plan until the end of the month you paid for (section 5). Sections 5 (for charges already made), 7, 10, 11 and 13 survive termination.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any output will be accurate.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the maximum extent the law allows, Roadie is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost revenue, lost viewers, lost data, or damage to reputation, arising from your use of the Services.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars.
You agree to indemnify and hold Roadie harmless from claims and costs arising out of your use of the Services, your content, or your breach of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Massachusetts have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
We may update these terms. We will identify the new version and communicate material changes. Dashboard users must expressly accept a new required version before continuing to use the dashboard. Other users will receive notice as required by law. A change to these terms never changes the price of a subscription you already have; section 5 covers that.
